INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Jeff Hutson recently earned the Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®) certification via the International Foundation for Retirement Education (InFRE).
Earning the CRC® typically requires 75 to 100 hours of preparation before sitting for a four-hour exam. In addition,
Hutson is now accredited or certified in the three areas of his practice: retirement plan participant research, communication, and retirement readiness. He is accredited by the International Association of Business Communicators and holds a Professional Researcher Certification through the Insights Association, the nation’s leading professional organization for market research and data analytics.
The CRC® program uniquely enhances a professional’s understanding of retirement planning concepts and principles, while demonstrating their commitment to the retirement planning profession. Hutson holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus on economics from Butler University’s Lacy School of Business, a master’s degree in public relations from Ball State University, and a certificate in market research from the University of Georgia.
He has worked with defined benefit and defined contribution plans and participants since 2006 and has led Relational Gravity, an Indianapolis-based benefits engagement consulting firm, since 2003.
